Program Evaluation

Mission Analytics Group conducts program evaluations using methods tailored to the project’s maturity and to the key questions to be answered.  Many of our evaluation projects examine the effectiveness of initiatives that fund a range of grantees (community-based organizations, hospitals, states or localities) each developing their own program within the initiative’s framework.  Depending on client needs, our evaluation work may include:

  • Collaborative development of detailed logic models to document how services are expected to affect client populations and how these activities will translate into measureable outcomes

  • Integration of administrative data from multiple data systems to minimize data collection burdens

  • Sample design to balance costs with the gains from data collection

  • Qualitative data collection through interviews, focus groups, site visits and process mapping

  • Structured online surveys and process-based data collection tools

  • Quantitative data analysis ranging from descriptive statistics to quasi-experimental and non-experimental regression analyses

  • Geographic analysis and innovative data visualizations

  • Cost analysis including cost simulations, long-term cost effectiveness, and cost-benefit analyses

  • Accessible reports and briefs summarizing evaluation results
